Mary Lou Cancellieri, left, the co-founder of Rockville Centre Blue Speaks, was appointed to the New York State Autism Advisory Board through a recommendation by State Senator Todd Kaminsky.

RVC Blue Speaks raises $47,000 for autism walk

The Rockville Centre community was represented well during the Autism Speaks Walk at Jones Beach as RVC Blue Speaks raised about $47,000 for the cause, garnering more funds than any other of the roughly 500 teams in attendance.

RVC Blue Speaks raised over $5K for autism

Rockville Centre Blue Speaks, the grassroots autism awareness campaign spearheaded by residents Tony and Mary Lou Cancellieri, raised over $5,000 for autism awareness on Jan. 18 with its “Guest Bartender Night”.

RVC Blue Speaks Inc. registered as a non-profit with New York State in 2017.
